I planted purple broccoli this year along with several other kinds, and I have to say that I think I prefer them over the traditional green varieties I planted. They are tender, the flavor is wonderful, and they cook up to a vibrant green! I had no idea they would go green, but it makes sense that they would since purple green beans do.
Oooh pretty!
ReplyDeletePurple broccoli is a delightful and visually striking variation of the traditional green broccoli. With its vibrant violet hues, it not only adds a pop of color to your plate but also offers a unique flavor profile. The rich color is indicative of the presence of anthocyanins, antioxidants known for their potential health benefits.
